About the event
Are you an intermediate or advanced-level English student who would like to learn about U.S. history, U.S. government and current events? If so, we have a class for you!
Debbie Margolis has been teaching history, government and GED to teenagers and adults for over twenty years. She grew up near Washington, DC where everyone talks about politics, and she thinks there’s no topic more interesting! Bring your questions and opinions, and join Debbie for a lively civics class that will help you understand how events of the past affect our world today.
This class will help students who are preparing for the U.S. citizenship test but is not explicitly a “test-prep” class.
