About the event

Come learn how to decorate Ukrainian Pysanky Easter eggs, using an ancient technique. You will also be able to taste traditional Easter bread and hear stories about Ukrainian traditions. Ukrainian Easter eggs are part of an ancient tradition of decorating whole eggshells with elaborate geometric patterns and images.  Making Pysanky eggs is a labor of love that requires patience, attention to detail, and a steady hand. It is a beautiful and rewarding craft that appeals to all ages. This is an event for individuals or families with children 10 years old and older.
