About the event

Anxiety is the most common mental health concern among adolescents, and its prevalence has increased significantly since the pandemic. This session will provide a deeper understanding of anxiety and how it appears in teens, as well as how to identify symptoms and recognize when professional help may be needed. You’ll leave with effective coping strategies your teen can use, along with practical tools for parents to offer ongoing support.


Paulina Cuevas is a PEPS Group Leader known for leading workshops and talks based on the Parents of Adolescents and Teens (PAT) Program. Her presentations focus on supporting parents and families, addressing topics that demystify adolescent challenges and help empower caregivers. She specializes in creating calm, informative sessions that help parents navigate social and developmental aspects of adolescence. She is also a Certified Positive Discipline Trainer and Educational Psychologist with extensive counseling experience.​
