Strong communication is at the heart of a healthy parent–teen relationship and it is crucial for adolescents to have parents and other caring adults actively engaged in their growth and development. Discover effective ways to provide the right balance of guidance and independence during these formative years, ensuring your teens feel both supported and empowered. Communicating with adolescents today is more complex than ever, thanks to technology and other evolving factors. This discussion will also help parents understand common communication barriers and provide practical tools to enhance conversations with their tweens and teens.
