Colombian Kite Festival

We will build and fill the sky of Issaquah with a rainbow of kites that will dance in the breeze.  🌈 Join the fun, make new friends, and show off your best kite-flying skills in one of the most vibrant performances of Colombia's most colorful festival. The Colombia Kite Festival has thrilled participants from all over the world, and this year will be no exception here in Issaquah. You will see everything from incredibly elaborate kites to those that will remind you of the time an elementary school kid, with the help of his teacher, tried to fly his first kite without much success. This event promises fun for all kids and the whole family, evoking a time when smartphones did not exist and imaginations flew free.

Construiremos y llenaremos el cielo de Issaquah con un arcoíris de cometas que danzarán en la brisa.  🌈 Únete a la diversión, haz nuevos amigos y muestra tus mejores habilidades para volar cometas en una de las representaciones más vibrantes del festival más colorido de Colombia. El Festival de Cometas de Colombia ha emocionado a participantes de todo el mundo, y este año no será la excepción aquí en Issaquah.

Verás de todo, desde cometas increíblemente elaboradas hasta aquellas que te recordarán la vez que un niño de primaria, con la ayuda de su profesor, intentó hacer volar su primera cometa sin mucho éxito. Este evento promete diversión para todos los niños y, por supuesto, para toda la familia, evocando una época en la que los teléfonos inteligentes no existían y la imaginación volaba libre.
